It only has two buttons and a nice back-lit LCD screen which displays the weight in the setting that you decide using the "UNIT" button, and you can cycle through the units while an item is on so you can see the different variations of measures. The other button is for power as well as the zero/tare. When you flip the scale over you will find the compartment that the 2 batteries go into as well as four anti-slip feet. Lastly this scale comes with a little instruction booklet, but I really don't think you will even need it because it is so easy and simple to use.
