At our home we like to have "game night", where we put away the cell phones and tablets and other electronic items and sit down as a family and play board games (Full Disclosure: we may or may not enjoy a movie while playing). We at the time of writing this usually have a game night once every two weeks. We are trying to get back to doing this one a week as we used to do about a year or so ago. This is a great way to be able to socialize with individual family members and really get to know each other.
There are four of us in the household and there are a lot of games that are made for a minimum of four people, so it is nice to be able to bring this item to your attention. This is a Leather Travel Backgammon Set which really only needs two players to play. This is nice and small and doesn't have tons of pieces so it is easy to set up and also put away when done playing.
The thing that is really nice is that the portability of this item is great to be able to take on the road and also share when you visit friends or relatives. Although it is not required as a reader of this blog I would encourage everyone to "unplug" and "connect" with the family and friends over a board game and have your own game night.
This backgammon set is nice and compact and all the pieces store in the zipper pouch so you don't have to worry about losing any pieces during the travel. The zipper pouch also is removable via three snaps, so you can utilize the full game board. The board being made out of leather makes it so you know it will last a long time. The classic black color of the leather is pleasing as well. It may be hard to tell from the photos but it is black leather. The way it was photographed is has a brownish look, but to the naked eye it is a nice deep black color.
Unfortunately this game dosen't come with instructions, but if you watch the video review below I have included to links to learn how to play. One is text based and the other is in video format. I would recommend you print out directions and then you can roll them up into the game till you get familiar with how to play the game.

As a man with a house full of women...my wife and two daughters, I find a common question they seem to always be asking me is "can you paint my nails"? I guess even though I have big hands they are steady and this is just what is needed for good nail painting. There are probably over 50 bottles of various nail polishes spread around our home and at different times they are all wonderful for helping make one of my princesses nails look pretty.

Note: Even though each jar is approx. 1" x 3/8" in size the items within are small and compact so there is a good amount to be able to do a set of nails at least once and maybe twice or more depending on how much is used.
These are the simple steps I took to give my daughters nails a special look:
Pick out the color(s) that you want
Pick out decorations that go with the colors chosen
Paint the base color
Use clear nail polish to add shine and give something for the glitters to stick to
Use a half a drop of crazy glue and glue base flower petals to nail
Use a half a drop of crazy glue and glue ball bead to center of flower petal.
Let dry
Show off !

WiFi is in my opinion one of the best inventions ever created. I know it doesn't compare to medical inventions
and the like but WiFi has clearly made it possible for people to be more interactive and on the move compared to being tied down by a coaxial cable.
With WiFi virtually everywhere in the world you will still find dead spots or at least spots that don't have the most reliable signal to be able to use your device(s) in the manner you would like to.
Even though I don't have complete dead spots in my home I do have some areas which the WiFi has less than optimal signal to be able to used to it full potential. My primary internet router which I got from my internet service provider is located on the one side of my home and the signal from time to time has difficultly reaching my daughters rooms so they can stay online. From time to time they get freeze ups during video streaming and dropped connections.
With this dual band WiFi range extender by Maginon I was able to eliminate the weak spots in my WiFi in my daughters rooms. Now I have overlapping coverage because this device takes the signal from my current router and amplifies it and rebroadcasts it out to fill in the weak spots in the WiFi. The image from the back of the box gives a almost duplicate representation of how it worked for me even though my home is not multi-level.
This device from Maginon was very easy to set up and connect to my current WiFi as it comes with easy to follow instructions. I used my laptop to set it up and I also downloaded and used their app from Google Play (available @ the Apple Store also) as I wanted to see to be able to see if there were any benefits on my mobile device compared to my laptop and they were equally beneficial.
There are a few other great features of this range extender by Maginon besides the obvious wider WiFi signal coverage. One is that it can not only extend your existing WiFi, but it can be used to create a new access point. Also this device has a WPS button for easy connectivity. I am really excited about sharing this Aosky 60 in 1 precision screwdriver set with my viewers, primarily because this is a tool set that no home should be without. There is always a need for this screwdriver set in my home for electronic gadgets to either be worked on or just to open the battery compartment the change out the dead batteries for fresh one. My wife and I wear prescription glasses and a tool like this is a must for glasses wearers as periodically the arm hinges screws need to be tightened. The screws on glasses are very small so this helps out termensely. A couple other reasons I really like this screwdriver set is that from time to time I work on, repair, or make adjustments to Xbox and computers. The tiny "T" bits are a must for getting into the Xbox.
There are a few features that really stand out to me and first is the hanging slot at the top of the case. This is great so you can hang on a tool peg board. Next the locking clasp is strong and durable and does a great job at securely keeping the case closed so pieces are not spilling out all over the place. The flexible shaft is very nice for working in area were a straight screwdriver wouldn't normally work. The four hinges on the case are probably the most overlooked feature that is really great. I have seen and used other sets similar to this that only have two hinges and they break very easily from use. With the four hinges the load is distributed more evenly and will hold up longer. This set even has a button which when pressed allows the bits to stand at attention to help with easy selection of just the right bit for the job. When done using you simply push the bits back down into their compact position, close the case, and lock the clasp to secure the screwdriver set till the next use.
Probably the best feature that this tool set has is that the shafts hold the bits in magnetically. You don't have to worry about the bits falling out while trying to work on whatever projects your working on. Another little side benefit of the bits being held in magnetically is that most of the time the magnetic properties transfer through and hold the screws so they don't fall and get lost. This is a very important and great benefit as you don't want to crawl around on hands and knees looking for a screw or worse yet loose one forever making it almost impossible to fix what you are working on.
