LED Light Strips are a great and fun way to add an accent or even flair to any particular setting. And these LED Light Strips by WenTop are no exception. They are fun and easy to use and set up almost anywhere. One of the very trendy way these lights are being used is behind television sets to not only add a visually appealing look but also to help reduce eye strain from watching television in the complete darkness.
This LED Light Strip by WenTop has 300 LEDs and is 10 meters long, which is 32.8 feet. In my opinion this is a nice long set of strips. But alas if you find they are to long that is all right as the total length is separated into two 5 meter long strips. So if 10 meters is to long you only need to use one of the 5 meter long strips. Also these strips are able to be trimmed. There are spots every few inches that you can simply use a pair of scissors to cut to your specific length.
When and if you do decide you need to cut your strip proceed slowly and I would recommend not including the length of the connector cord in the calculations of the length of the strip that you may need otherwise you may end up with a gap in your lighting sequence. If is best to try and overlap by one or two LEDs to help avoid a gap.
This light strip set comes with everything you need to put it together and an flair to that special space in your home. When using this light strip you can either use the 24 key remote that comes with it or operate via WiFi connection with an app called Magic Home Pro which is free to download from your particular device download stores. This lighting strip is versatile as is works with Android, IOS, IFTTT, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Also these light are powered by a safe and reliable DC12v power source.
The remote offered may preset color variations and this is great for setting the certain mood you may be looking for. The app offers may other great features for this item as you can also use other preset options as well as utilize the microphone option so your lights can bounce to music that you may be jamming too.
I have included my unboxing video review below which shows a bit of me using some of the presets on the App. and there are several photos here showing some of its varying color patterns. I mostly wanted to introduce this item to my followers as this is the first time I have seen one of these LED Light Strips that can be operated via a smart device and thought that this is just neat.
